THEN:

E. and I missed the Police reunion tour here in CA. So we're going to do the next most logical thing: Fly three thousand miles to New York to hear them in the intimate little venue known as Madison Square Garden on a restful, calm night in the Big Apple: Halloween.

I think this definitely qualifies as the furthest I'll have gone to hear someone play music :)

NOW (Sting looks like an Alien pod person version of his former self):

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH YOU ARE WISE! This is the wisest thing to do!!!!!!

I'd love to join you... but it's a little further for me, I'm afraid. I still keep hope of being able to see them in Buenos Aires on December 4th or 5th.

Don't you dare to say anything negative about 'MY' Sting, ok? He's brilliant, cute, sings beautifully and writes marvellous lyrics and last but not least: he has been with the same woman for ages!

When are they playing in NY?

Have a great day, wise girl.

I think Sting is still hotter'n hell.

And I am so jealous of you right now, I feel like gnawing my hand off -- WITHOUT painkillers.

Patricia: He is "my" sting too :) I saw The Police in concert when I was 8! But you must admit he was more handsome when he was just himself without the nose job. I'm glad he's been dedicated to his wife for all these years.

I am not disparaging him. I'm flying across the country to listen to him, after all :)

Ms. Lori: I think you'd be better off gnawing your neighbor's hands :)

I always prefer originals, but I think he looks great with his 'improved' nose.

It's great to know we share him... it's only a pity he isn't aware of it ;)

Should you have the possibility to meet Jesus Christ, M. Gandhi or Sting. Who would you choose? (If you have any expectations of becoming Miss Universe, be careful with your answer!)

Having too much celullitis myself, I can be honest: Sting! no doubt.

Well, seeing as Miss Universe is one of my highest aspirations....hahahahhaa.

Um, I think maybe Jesus, to see what all the fuss was about. I doubt Sting would give me more than 5 minutes of his time, just enough to sign an 8 x10 glossy photo, and then he'd be back on his tour bus :)

I saw them at the Garden on Friday and they were awesome (even way up in the rafters where I was sitting!)

And Sting looked great... but I'm a Stewart Copeland kind of gal myself.
